Our Service: Electrolysis (Electroepilation)

We solely provide specialized electrolysis services at this location.

Three methods can be utilized for this process: Thermolysis, Electrolysis, and Blend. A probe is inserted along the hair follicle, the base is treated to destroy the cells to prevent hair from returning, and then the probe and hair are removed. After each treatment, the hair will lose strength until it stops growing completely. This process is generally safe for everyone, but health factors are taken into consideration when choosing the appropriate treatment.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

HYDRATE like it’s your job. Avoid sun exposure for 24 hours before your appointment. Come with 3-5 days of hair growth in the area you want treated. STOP all other means of hair removal (waxing/tweezing/chemical removal): The root of the hair must be present, and the length must be long enough to grab to release it. Avoid/limit caffeine on your treatment day.

What are some things to focus on between treatment sessions?

Again… Hydrate like it’s your job! Exfoliate and moisturize. STOP all other means of hair removal (waxing/tweezing/chemical removal): YES. Stop removing hair, even between electrology sessions... You MAY shave.

What should I expect at my initial consultation?

During your initial (free) consultation, you and your electrologist will discuss your concerns, desired areas of treatment, and your medical history. A skin and hair examination will be completed with a full explanation of electrolysis/electroepilation. You will then receive a sample treatment so you can understand the process, and we can see how your skin reacts to treatment. You can then continue treatment if there is an available opening right after your consultation and you are tolerating treatment well OR you will book your follow-up sessions if you choose to proceed. *You are welcome to book your initial consultation and add a full hour service immediately following.

How does this work again?

Each unwanted hair will be individually treated by inserting a probe, destroying the hair creating cells, and removing the treated hair. This will be repeated until the area is cleared and will continue to be treated until it is permanently cleared. Please book a consultation for more information.
